High-Efficiency Cooling Fins for Copper Tubing
At Datang Finned Tube, we specialize in engineering and manufacturing high-efficiency cooling fins for copper tubing designed to maximize heat transfer performance in the most demanding industrial environments. Copper is renowned for its exceptional thermal conductivity, but when integrated with our precision-engineered cooling fins, the overall heat dissipation surface area multiplies significantly, delivering unparalleled thermal efficiency.
Whether you are upgrading an existing heat exchanger system or developing a new industrial cooling solution, our custom cooling fins for copper tubing provide the reliability, durability, and thermal performance your operations require.
Why Choose Datang’s Cooling Fins for Copper Tubing?
Not all finned tubes are created equal. At Datang Finned Tube, we combine advanced manufacturing technology with rigorous quality control to ensure every tube meets international standards.
-
Optimized Heat Dissipation: Our cooling fins for copper tubing are mechanically bonded or extruded to ensure zero thermal resistance between the base copper tube and the fins.
-
Premium Material Grades: We utilize top-tier copper alloys (such as T2, C12200) for base tubes, paired with aluminum or copper fins, ensuring excellent corrosion resistance and longevity.
-
Superior Mechanical Strength: Engineered to withstand high vibrations, thermal expansion, and intense pressure cycles without fin loosening or performance degradation.
-
Strict Quality Standards: All products undergo comprehensive pressure testing and bonding integrity checks before leaving our facility to guarantee flawless on-site operation.

Manufacturing Types of Finned Copper Tubes
Depending on your operating temperature and environmental conditions, Datang Finned Tube provides different fin-to-tube bonding technologies:
How do you Manufacture Extruded Fin Tubes (Bi-metallic)?
This process involves a “cold extrusion” technique. A seamless outer tube made of a ductile metal (typically aluminum or copper) is tightly fitted over the bare base tube. The composite tube is then forced through an extrusion die under immense pressure, which raises the outer metal to form continuous, seamless helical fins. Because the fins and the base tube become a single solid piece, this method provides exceptional corrosion resistance and superior thermal contact efficiency.
How do you Manufacture L/LL/KL Tension-Wound Fin Tubes?
These types are produced by spirally winding a metal strip onto the tube under constant tension. The difference lies in the specific technique: L-Fin involves simply bending the strip into an “L” shape and wrapping it around the tube; LL-Fin extends the foot of the fin to overlap and fully cover the tube’s outer surface for added corrosion protection; and KL-Fin involves knurling (roughening) the tube surface before winding, embedding the fin foot into the grooves to significantly increase bonding strength and temperature resistance.
How do you Manufacture G-Type (Embedded) Fin Tubes?
This method utilizes a “grooving and locking” technique. First, a helical groove is machined into the outer surface of the base tube. The fin strip is then inserted into this groove. Finally, the tube material displaced by the groove is pushed back against the fin root using a roller, mechanically locking the fin tightly in place. This secure structure gives G-Type tubes excellent bonding strength, making them ideal for high-temperature and high-pressure applications.
