The production of stud tubes primarily relies on highly automated resistance-welded stud tube production lines. Utilizing dual-head synchronous resistance/arc welding technology, a single line can achieve a daily output of 50,000 to 100,000 studs (approximately 150 to 300 meters of finished tubing). The welding process features highly concentrated energy and a minimal heat-affected zone (HAZ), enabling 100% full-cross-section metallurgical bonding between the studs and the base tube. With joint strength exceeding that of the parent material, it ensures exceptional heat transfer performance and structural reliability under high-temperature and high-pressure conditions. Studded Pipes Application

Stud head specifications range from φ12 to 25 mm in diameter and 25 to 38 mm in height, with a minimum spacing of 16 mm. The material selection for studded fin tubes follows the same principles as for finned tubes.

When the fuel contains a high ash content, studded tubes are preferred because they are easier to clean due to accumulated ash.

Studded Tubes enhance heat transfer through the flue gas, withstand temperatures of 400-600°C, and are suitable for dusty flue gas environments.

Studded tubes made of corrosion-resistant materials are used for heat exchange in acidic and alkaline media. The density of the studs is adjusted according to the severity of the corrosiveness.

Studded fin tubes improve the heat utilization rate of low-temperature flue gas. Marine power systems utilize their vibration resistance to adapt to turbulent environments.
