H-type boiler fin tube welding machine is mainly used to produce H-type and double H-type fin tubes, welding rectangular or square fins to the tubes, which are commonly used in heat exchange equipment such as radiators and boiler economizers.

Manual loading and unloading of steel tubes and finned tubes

Fins are automatically fed to the welding head from a hopper and manually loaded into the hopper.

1. Welding Speed

Base tube outer diameter 38.1mm, fin thickness 2-3mm, welding time per pair less than 5 seconds (excluding loading and unloading and annealing time).

2. Weld Strength and Stability

2.1 Pull-off Test: Greater than 50 MPa or partial tearing of the steel tube.

2.2 Weld Seam Width: Greater than the fin thickness, indicating a weld penetration rate >100%.

2.3 Weld Strength Stability: Each first piece must meet the requirements of 2.1 or 2.2 by performing a weld test specimen.

2.4 Weld Seam Bend Test: The fins must be bent 20 degrees left and right to ensure no cracks in the weld.

2.5 Hammer Test: Parallel Hit the top of the fin on the steel tube until it falls off. The fin itself must not break.

2.6 If test 2.5 fails, annealing must be initiated.

3. Heat-Affected Zone

Measure using a microscope and a microhardness tester.

Select steel tubes with a heat-affected zone depth less than 0.5mm, provided the requirements of 2.1 and 2.2 are met.

4. Unit Manufacturing Capabilities

4.1 The unit is equipped with fixtures suitable for both double and single tubes.

4.2 Fin tube length: 1m to 10m.

4.3 Fin thickness: 2mm to 3mm.

4.4 Steel tube size: 19mm to 51mm.

4.5 Weldable Material Range

Base tube + fin:

Carbon steel + carbon steel

Carbon steel + low alloy steel (manganese-containing steel)

Stainless steel + stainless steel

5. Product Dimensional Accuracy

5.1 Fin segment length: -3mm Segmented motion accuracy: -0.6mm to +0.6mm

5.2 Fin spacing: -0.6mm to +0.6mm

5.3 Perpendicularity between fin and tube: -1° to +1°

5.4 Fin height difference between butt-welded fins in the same group: -0.4mm to 0.4mm, excluding height differences due to fin thickness tolerance.

5.5 Fin height difference between butt-welded fins in the same group: -0.4mm to 0.4mm, excluding height differences due to fin dimensional tolerance.

5.6 Twin tube center distance tolerance: -0.4mm to +0.4mm

5.7 For the same tube material, same fin spacing, and same fin conditions, the length change after welding of different fin tubes is consistent.
