What are High-Frequency Resistance Welded Finned Tubes?

A high-frequency resistance welded finned tube, also known as a high-frequency welded finned tube or spiral steel solid finned tube, is an efficient heat exchange element formed by welding fins to a base tube using high-frequency current. Its core advantages include high welding strength, low thermal resistance, and a large heat dissipation area, making it suitable for various scenarios such as industrial high-temperature, corrosive environments, and civilian heating applications.

High-Frequency Resistance Welded Finned Tube Process Principle

Using a 200-400kHz high-frequency current to generate strong electromagnetic induction, a high temperature of 800-1000℃ is instantly formed, causing the fins and base tube to melt and fuse, forming a metallurgical-grade bonding layer. The welding strength can reach 150-200MPa, and the thermal resistance is controlled at 0.0005-0.0008㎡・K/W.

Base tube: 20# seamless carbon steel is selected for industrial high-temperature applications, 316L stainless steel for corrosive environments, and copper tubes are commonly used for civilian heating.

Form: Length 0.5-6 meters, supporting flange, threaded, or welded connections.
