Stainless Steel Fin Tube Suppliers in China
Stainless steel fin tubes are a type of heat exchanger tube that have fins attached to the outer surface.
Plain Stainless Steel Tubes Datang will be procured for finning, duly Hydro Tested and Eddy Current Tested as per material specification and code, from plain tube manufacturers only, as per customer requirement.
If customer require, Datang will procure plain Stainless Steel Tubes, duly inspected, approved and released by customer or Third Party Inspection Agency, at plain Tubes manufacturer’s end.
These fins increase the surface area of the tube, allowing for more efficient heat transfer between the fluid inside the tube and the surrounding environment.
Datang Quality Control for Stainless Steel Finned Tube
The quality of the stainless steel finned tube is assured by hydrostatic or pneumatic testing, eddy current testing and tensile testing to verify the mechanical bond between the inner tube and the outer fins.
Datang Delivery condition:
Tube ends are square cut, free burrs, internally dried and air blown clean, externally coated with Anti-rust at both ends of stainless steel finned tube.

With the overall success of the transfer of heat, Finned Tubing is wildly popular in the oil and gas industry. As liquid flows through the inside of a finned tube there is often air or some other gas flowing outside of the tube. Most Finned Tube heat exchangers are crossflow. They act as a great heat exchanger when one of the transfer variables is gas or air. Extruded Fin Tubes, tubes manufactured with extrusion that is radially crushed on the lining, often provide a highly efficient surface area for a heat exchanger tube. The kinds of transfers these tubes are often used for in this sector include transfer from liquid to gas, thermal fluid to air, and vapor to gas.
Stainless steel fin tubes are commonly used in various industries, including HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), refrigeration, power generation, and petrochemical plants. They are particularly suitable for applications where corrosion resistance and durability are important.

The kinds of transfers these tubes are often used for in this sector include transfer from liquid to gas, thermal fluid to air, and vapor to gas.
1. Material: Stainless steel finned tubes are typically constructed from stainless steel, which offers excellent corrosion resistance, high strength, and durability. Stainless steel alloys such as 304, 316, or duplex stainless steels are commonly used for their resistance to corrosion and harsh operating environments.
2. Heat Transfer Efficiency: The addition of fins on the outer surface of the stainless steel tubes significantly increases the surface area available for heat transfer. This improved surface area promotes efficient heat exchange between the fluid inside the tube and the surrounding medium. Stainless fin tubes are widely used in applications where maximizing heat transfer efficiency is critical.
3. Versatility: Stainless steel finned tubes can be customized to meet specific design and performance requirements. The fin geometry, such as fin height, thickness, and spacing, can be tailored to achieve the desired heat transfer characteristics. This versatility allows stainless fin tubes to be used in a wide range of industries and applications, including HVAC systems, heat exchangers, boilers, condensers, and refrigeration units.
4. Corrosion Resistance: Stainless steel is highly resistant to corrosion, making stainless steel finned tubes suitable for various environments and fluids. They can withstand exposure to corrosive gases, liquids, and high-temperature environments without degradation. This corrosion resistance ensures the long-term performance and reliability of stainless fin tubes.
5. Longevity: With proper design, material selection, and maintenance, stainless steel finned tubes can have a long lifespan. Stainless steels durability, combined with the protection provided by the finned design, contributes to their extended service life. Routine inspections and maintenance practices can help ensure optimal performance and detect any potential issues early on.
stainless steel finned tubes are an effective solution for heat transfer applications that require high efficiency and resistance to corrosion. The specific design, dimensions, and material selection of the stainless fin tubes should be determined based on the specific requirements of the application and operating conditions.
