What are Large Diameter Finned Tubes?
Large-diameter finned pipes are made of large-diameter steel pipes. They consist of a base tube and fins wound or welded onto the surface of the base tube, significantly increasing heat exchange efficiency by increasing the surface area.
Large-diameter finned tubes are industrial equipment specifically designed for high-flow, high-efficiency heat exchange applications. They significantly increase the heat dissipation area and efficiency by welding spiral fins to the outer wall of large-diameter steel pipes.
Their core advantages lie in the large-diameter base tube (usually ≥DN50), which significantly reduces flow resistance and is suitable for high-flow steam, hot water, or heat transfer oil. At the same time, the spiral fin structure greatly increases the heat dissipation area and improves heat exchange efficiency.

Production of Large Diameter Finned Tubes
Production of large diameter finned tubes can utilize high-frequency finned tube welded machine, where high-frequency current welds the steel pipe and fins, or laser finned tube welded machines, where a laser beam performs the welding. Both processes can achieve a maximum diameter of 273mm and a length of 30m.
