Working Principle
Fluid Flow: Hot fluid (oil, water, gas) enters the tubes within the tube bundle.
Air Flow: Fans (forced draft or induced draft) blow or draw cool ambient air across the outside of the tubes.
Heat Transfer: Fins attached to the tubes significantly increase the surface area, allowing the hot fluid to efficiently transfer heat to the cooler air.
Result: The fluid is cooled (or condensed), and the heated air is discharged from the equipment. This type of equipment is commonly used in large-scale cooling applications where water is not suitable.
